You'll find a handful of folks with the 3.0 TDIs (Q5/7, A6/7/8, Toaureg), but they all seem to be elated. if anyone has knowledge of the 3.0 tdi engine please advice. thanks. I'll be doing that exact conversion rather soon. the engine will bolt up, but I'm confident the flywheel is different. Luckily Audi did make a 3.0 with a 6 speed manual. You also have to use an engine from a car as the SUV oil pan, bracketry, and manifolds are difficult to fit.

Indeed 3.0 tdi are twin plate 228 mm , so if a 228mm single in an old 1.9 PD AWX engine can handle in good condition 300 ftlb a twinplate can handle 600 ftlb that's 813 Nm.

3.0 tdi stage 1 remap 310bhp 653Nm with DPF. The car is standard apart from home made straight pipe back box delete. It did feel a little perkier after the back box delete, so I think this helped push the standard figures up from 240 bhp to 260bhp and 564Nm (416 lb/ft). Now its 310bhp / 653 Nm (481 lb/ft) :grin2:
